Engineering chair buys in Center City West

Medium ce0e044c5fe13fb85f05f87085da7178 Robert G. Loewy and Lila Loewy bought a condo at 250 S. 18th St. in Center City West from Ruth Chalfin Carol F. Liebman, Joseph Liebman and the estate of Stuart Liebman for $765,000 on March 30.

Mr. Leowy is the chair of the School of Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech. Prior to that, he was with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as director of Rotorcraft Technology Center, institute professor at the School of Engineering, and professor of aeronautical engineering and mechanics.

He received a bachelor of aeronautical engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was also conferred a Ph.D. at the University of Pennsylvania.
