The 1,528-square-foot condo, Unit #902, is one of the 25 units at 250 S. 18th St. condo development, which was built in 1900. It is located in the Rittenhouse-Fitler Historic District.

Mr. Leowy is the chair of the School of Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech. Prior to that, he was with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as director of Rotorcraft Technology Center, institute professor at the School of Engineering, and professor of aeronautical engineering and mechanics.

He received a bachelor of aeronautical engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was also conferred a Ph.D. at the University of Pennsylvania.
