Gastroenterologist gets Philadelphia 4BD for $1.225M

Dr. Timothy C. Hopps and Deborah L. Hoops bought a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 234 Gaskill St. in Philadelphia from Joanna R. Pulcini for $1.225 million on Nov. 3.
Pulcini paid $1.525 million for the property in April 2007. The 3,385-square-foot house was built in 2007 in the Center City East neighborhood.
Dr. Hoops is the chief of gastroenterology, medical director of endoscopy, and the director of the gastrointestinal cancer risk evaluation program at the Pennsylvania Presbyterian Medical Center.
He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 17,138 home sales in Philadelphia during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $106,000.
