Dr. Maurice Jove sold a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 2001 Hamilton St. in Fairmount to Bernard Chan for $350,000 on Oct. 9.

Dr. Jove bought the property for $399,000 in Aug. 2005. The 1,331-square-foot Unit 406 was built in 1970 and is part of the Cityview condominium development.

Dr. Jove is an orthopedic surgeon at Georgia Knee and Sports Medicine in Decatur, Ga. He also is affiliated with Emory Eastside Medical Center and at DeKalb Medical Center in Georgia.

He received his medical degree from the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Emory University hospital.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 108 condo sales during the past 12 months in Fairmount, with a median sales price of $260,000.
