Dr. Jeffrey Farma and Daria Farma sold a three-bedroom, one-bath home at 332 Poplar St. in Fishtown to Andrew Townsend for $327,500 on July 22.

The Farmas bought the property for $279,500 on March 2005. The 1,120-square-foot house was built in 1988.

Dr. Farma is a surgical oncologist at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.

He received a B.A. in English from Tufts University in 1996 and his M.D. from the Temple University School of Medicine in 2000. He completed his fellowship in surgical oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Fla.

There were 227 home sales in Fishtown in 2008, with a median sales price of $170,000.
